Kaolinite



This material, known as kaolinite or kaolin in our country, is a clay lump type obtained from granite rocks. This type of clay, generally called pure clay, is white and soft. If we speak of its formation, the feldspar mineral is transformed into a clay type called kaolin after long periods of time with the softening of granite by various lava temperature factors and fragmentations. Its formation covers a long period of time. Today, it is generally used in ceramic and porcelain production. Chinese porcelain, which is very famous in the world, is made of this clay type. Other than that, it is possible to see that kaolinite is used in numerous fields.
